The collection spans 30 of Japan's 47 prefectures, offering a broad geographical spread. Examples include Mount Kurodake in Hokkaido, Oirase Stream in Aomori, Naruko Gorge in Miyagi, Mount Takao and Meiji Jingu Gaien Icho Namiki in Tokyo, and Arashiyama in Kyoto.
